Treatment

Plantar fasciitis tends to heal spontaneously in 8-12 months.  Osteopathy can be beneficial in the treatment and management of plantar fasciitis, reducing the healing time to just 2-3 months.  As well as ensuring your pelvis is aligned and balanced treatment includes stretching shortened foot muscles with soft tissue massage, assisting remodeling of foot tissue with Harmonic Technique, and prescribing foot stretches and exercises to advance the healing process. It is also recommended to rest from any aggravating activities.
